Euro iTunes rivals limber up
Europe’s digital music marketers are tooling up to defend myself against Apple’s iTunes Music Store in the area, despite no competitors offering support for Mac customers.
So that they can steal just a little limelight, Mycokemusic.com (Coca-Cola’s music download site) claims it remains Europe’s greatest store, which has offered 500,000 tunes within the last two several weeks. The service uses technology and catalogue supplied by OD2.
Coca Cola spokesperson Rafael McDonnell told the BBC: “Research demonstrated us that installing music was going be considered a huge change in the manner that customers access music so we were in front of the curve with the development of Mycokemusic.com.”
Napster yesterday introduced US plans to give up MP3 gamers with Napster subscriptions, during the eve of Apple’s iTunes launch, OD2 introduced technology and prices structures.
Meanwhile, browsing the wings sits The new sony, which expects to produce its The new sony Connect service later this month.
