Apple updates AirPort Extreme, Express
Only a couple of days before Macworld Expo Bay Area, Apple has launched updates for Airport terminal Extreme and Express for Mac and Home windows systems.
Four updates can be found: For Mac there’s Airport terminal Extreme Firmware Update 5.7 for Mac OS X and Airport terminal Express Firmware Update 6.3 for Mac OS X For Home windows additionally, there are version 5.7 for Extreme and 6.3 for Express. All of the updates weigh in at 2.5MB.
All of the updates are referred to as: “Addressing reliability and resolves difficulties with AirTunes, Airport terminal compatibility, and difficulties with some 3rd party Routers.”
The updates launch instantly when downloaded, “providing the chance to update numerous base stations”, the organization stated.
Each form of the firmware update consists of versions 5.7 and 6.3 for that Extreme and Express base stations, correspondingly. All customers need do is ensure they download an update appropriate for their OS.

Resolves issue with Audio dropout when playing to AirPort Express with AirTunes;
Resolves issue with Wireless Disabled mode for AirPort Express;
Resolves issue with AirPort Extreme LAN Performance;
Resolves issue when enabling AOL Parental Controls;
Resolves issue with vulnerability to Denial of Service Attacks (bonk);
Resolves issue with wireless internet access through AirPort via some PPPoA DSL Routers;
Improved reliability when printing through AirPort base stations;
Improved support for RADIUS servers;
Improved support for Network Time Servers (NTP) for AirPort when using an IP addresses.
