Camera makers embrace QuickTime
Apple has introduced that camera producers – including Canon, Casio, Kodak, Olympus, Panasonic and Sanyo – have integrated its QuickTime technology to their items.
Over 75 digital-camera models play-back content using QuickTime, 25 which also capture videos within the QuickTime format. QuickTime can assemble still photos into movies, and download and playback videos taken around the cameras.
Phil Schiller, Apple’s v . p . of worldwide product marketing, stated: “We are seeing QuickTime extend past the desktop and into mainstream consumer products.”
Mary Miceli, Panasonic Optical Group’s product manager, added: “Clients have responded very positively towards the QuickTime feature, simply because they recognize it as being a top quality technology and comprehend the quality advantage it offers.Inch
Camera producers can have the QuickTime logos around the cameras in addition to supply QuickTime software to clients.
